Common use of Authorized Representative Clause in Contracts

Authorized Representative. During any period of the operations, PURCHASER shall have a designated representative(s) available to STATE on the timber sale area or project location, or both, where such activity is separated. The representative(s) shall be authorized to receive any notice or instructions from STATE on behalf of PURCHASER and to take any action required in regard to performance of PURCHASER under this contract. STATE shall designate a field representative(s) who shall be authorized to receive notices, inspect progress of the work, and issue instructions in regard to performance under the terms of this contract. Authorized representatives of STATE and PURCHASER shall be designated in the Operations Plan required by Section 39. Section 38. Inspection. STATE, through its authorized and designated representative, shall at all times be allowed access to all parts of the operations and areas of operations of PURCHASER, as may be required to make a complete and detailed inspection. STATE shall be furnished such information and assistance by PURCHASER, or the designated representative(s).
