Authorized Operators Clause Samples
The 'Authorized Operators' clause defines which individuals or entities are permitted to operate, use, or access certain equipment, vehicles, or systems under the agreement. Typically, this clause specifies criteria such as licensing, training, or employment status that must be met for someone to be considered an authorized operator. For example, only employees with valid certifications or named individuals in an appendix may be allowed to operate machinery. The core function of this clause is to limit liability and ensure safety by restricting operation to qualified or approved persons, thereby reducing the risk of misuse or accidents.
Authorized Operators. All persons authorized by the Lessee to operate the vehicles shall be appropriately trained and licensed to do so. A record check must be conducted, through the Department of Motor Vehicles (“DMV”), on each driver and indicate a clear driving record prior to operating a vehicle.
Authorized Operators. Unless otherwise specified in writing, the GIS Data Products will be operated by Customer’s employees and authorized contractors only (Authorized Operators). Authorized Operators. CUSTOMER shall only permit individuals to operate a piece of Equipment if that individual possesses the necessary experience, training, certification and/or licensure to safely do so. CUSTOMER releases, holds harmless and will indemnify COMPANY, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, their officers, agents and employees against any and all loss, liability, expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, damages including, but not limited to, property damage, personal injury, or strict liability, resulting from, or allegedly resulting from, an operator’s lack of such experience, training, certification and/or licensure.

Only the Lessee and those people whose signatures appear below will operate the Vessel during this charter (collectively “Operators”) each operator certifies that he/she has or will review Lessor’s written material on operation of the Vessel and participate in the orientation regarding the same before operating the Vessel.
