The Authority Rules clause establishes which laws, regulations, or governing bodies have jurisdiction over the agreement and its parties. In practice, this clause specifies whether local, state, national, or international rules apply, and may reference specific regulatory authorities or legal frameworks relevant to the subject matter. Its core function is to provide clarity and certainty about which legal standards must be followed, thereby reducing ambiguity and potential disputes regarding compliance or enforcement.
Authority Rules and Regulations shall collectively mean the lawful rules and regulations governing the conduct and operation of the Airport promulgated from time to time by the Authority pursuant to Applicable Laws including, without limitation, Policies, Standard Procedures and Operating Directives, and the Airport Security Plan, as well as the Airport Certification Manual, Ground Operations Manual, Surface Movement Guidance, Control System Plan and Airport Emergency Plan, Wildlife Hazard Management Plan, and any other operational matters related to the operation of the Airport , in each case as such may be in force and as amended from time to time.

Authority Rules. SECTION 1. The Authority's Rules existing on the date of execution of this Agreement, or as may be amended or established thereafter from time to time by the Authority Board or Fire Chief, in its/his/her sole discretion, shall be binding upon the Parties; provided, however, to the extent any Authority Rule is in conflict with an express provision of this Agreement, this Agreement shall control.
SECTION 2. During the Term of this Agreement, any proposed change in the Authority's Rules, or any new Rule, which is in conflict with an express provision of this Agreement, must be expressly agreed to in advance and ratified by the Union and made part of this Agreement, before taking effect.
SECTION 3. A Rule is not in conflict with a provision of this Agreement solely because it addresses a new issue or changes an existing Rule; nor is a new or existing Rule in conflict with an express provision of this
