Attrition Hours. Fifty percent (50%) of hours made available by employees hired prior to Ratification leaving the store shall be scheduled to Junior Clerks or Junior G.M. Clerks until a fifty/fifty (50/50) ratio is achieved. The general principle the parties will follow is a measurement of the employee's average weekly hours worked in the past twenty-six (26) weeks prior to the employee's departure. Hours worked shall include WI, WCB, LTD and Paid Vacation. Maternal Leave, Paternal Leave, or other Leave of Absence weeks shall be bridged. The parties reserve the right to review and adjust each employee's hours to take into account any unusual circumstances.

(a) Prior to any renovation or remodel, Pre-Ratification employees shall receive any new hours above the store “base hours” as a result of an increase in sales or service. The base hours are as listed in (6) below. (b) Upon completion of a renovation or remodel, seventy-five percent (75%) of all new hours as a result of an increase in sales or service shall go to “Junior Clerks.”
