Common use of Associate Clause in Contracts

Associate. The term “associate” includes: (a) any corporation or organization (other than the Company or any of its majority-owned subsidiaries) of which you are an executive officer or partner, or of which you are, directly or indirectly, the beneficial owner of 10% or more of any class of equity securities; (b) any trust or other estate in which you have a substantial beneficial interest or as to which you serve as trustee or in a similar fiduciary capacity; and (c) any member of your immediate family, including your spouse, parents, children, siblings, mothers and fathers-in-law, sons and daughters-in-law, and brothers and sisters- in-law.
