Part Time Associates. (a) Part time Associates will be employed to work an agreed amount of ordinary hours per four week cycle.
Part Time Associates. In order to qualify for general holiday pay, a part-time associate must have been employed thirty (30) calendar days with the Company and not have been voluntarily absent on their scheduled work day, prior to and following the holiday. They must have worked the full, regular, designated weekly hours in the week of the holiday, except for bona fide illness. Associates granted leave of absence will not qualify for general holiday pay.
Part Time Associates. (i) The ordinary hours of work for Part Time Associates will be varied in accordance with the operational needs of the Hotel and will be less than 76 hours per fortnight over a 2 week roster, unless a greater averaging period is agreed in writing. Part Time Associates will work a minimum of 20 hours per fortnight, or equivalent ratio if using a greater averaging period, and will work a minimum of 2 hours per shift.
Part Time Associates. (a) The Employer may schedule a maximum of twenty percent (20%) of the total number of bargaining unit positions as part-time Associates. A part-time position is defined as a schedule of four (4) or fewer eight (8) hour shifts per week or three (3) or fewer ten (10) hour shifts per week or five (5) or fewer shifts per week of less than eight (8) hours but not less than four (4) hours, only for the classifications set forth in 4.02(b) below.
Part Time Associates. Part-time associates must meet a quota of one thousand and three hundred (1,300) billable hours per year. SECTION FIFTEEN

  • Part-Time Employee Part-time employee" means an employee who is normally scheduled to work fewer than 80 hours in a biweekly payroll period.

  • Part-Time Employees (a) A part-time employee is an employee who is engaged to work less than an average of 38 ordinary hours per week and whose hours of work are reasonably predictable.

  • Part-Time Nurse is a Nurse hired to a position to work on a regular or temporary basis that is less than the work period of a Full-Time Nurse.

  • Part-Time Teachers A "part-time teacher" is one who is employed under written contract but who is assigned to duties on a regular basis that requires less than a full-time equivalent. A part-time teacher shall be paid a salary in accordance with the basic salary schedule, proportionate to the percentage of the full-time equivalent taught each day as outlined in the written contract.

  • Permanent Part-Time Employees (1) Pay and benefits will be computed on a prorated monthly or pay period basis, such as one-half (½) monthly or pay period pay for a half-time employee, or pay will be computed on an hourly basis, and pay and benefits will be normally prorated on a pay period, pay status basis. Permanent part-time employees in permanent full-time positions will be treated as permanent part-time for purposes of this Article.

  • Regular Part-Time Employee A regular part-time employee is an employee hired to fill a posted part-time position and is regularly pre-scheduled to work.

  • PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS Regular part time employees shall be provided the opportunity to purchase benefits of one of the plans described in Article XVII, Sections B and C at the Employer plan’s premium cost. The Employer will pay the Employer’s monthly share of the premium cost at a ratio proportionate to the employee’s part time condition of employment contingent upon receipt of the employee’s yearly share of the employee’s premium.

  • Regular Part-Time Employees A regular part-time employee is one who works less than full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular part-time employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement. Regular part-time employees shall receive the same perquisites, on a proportionate basis, as granted regular full-time employees.

  • Part-Time Faculty A faculty member whose appointment is for a specified period of time and does not meet the full load requirements for an Academic Year as defined herein. Such appointment carries with it no promise or expectation of continued employment. Such appointments are not applicable towards tenure.

  • Part-Time Benefits A part-time employee shall receive in lieu of all fringe benefits (being those benefits to an employee, paid in whole or in part by the hospitals, as part of direct compensation or otherwise, including holiday pay, save and except salary, vacation pay, standby pay, call-in pay, responsibility pay, jury and witness duty, bereavement leave, and pregnancy and parental supplemental unemployment benefits) an amount equal to 14% of his regular straight time hourly rate for all straight time hours paid. For part-time employees who are members of the Hospital's pension plan the percentage in lieu of fringe benefits is twelve percent (12%).
