Assistant Coaches. Assistant coaches may receive athletic appointments for up to ten (10) years at a time. No compensation beyond the agreed term of appointment shall be offered.

Assistant Coaches. Assistant coaches hired after the effective date of this Agreement may receive athletic appointments for up to two (2) years at a time. No compensation beyond the agreed term of appointment shall be offered.
Assistant Coaches. Subject to such limitations as may be imposed from time to time by the NCAA or the Conference, the University shall provide the Program with up to the maximum permissible number of assistant coaches. The Employee shall have the authority to recommend the hiring and termination of assistant coaches for the Program, subject to the review of the University’s Affirmative Action Officer and the Athletic Director and the approval of the President of the University, as the University’s appointing authority, or the President’s designee. All assistant coaches shall be University employees. It is understood that, except as may be provided in any other written employment agreement, assistant coaches are immediately responsible to the Employee, who will assign the duties of each of the assistant coaches, and that the Employee is responsible for the activities of such assistant coaches as those activities relate to the educational purposes and the athletic interests of the University. It is further understood, however, that the Employee and assistant coaches are additionally responsible to the Athletic Director for compliance with the policies of the University, including its Athletic Department, with the rules and regulations of the NCAA and the constitution, bylaws, rules, regulations, and all official interpretations thereof, and the rules and regulations of the Conference, as may be in effect from time to time.
Assistant Coaches. The chief executive officer of the institution is authorized to hire assistant coaches as provided in the policies of the institution. Applicable Board policies shall be followed.

Assistant Coaches. Coach shall be provided a minimum salary pool in the annual amount of $720,000 for the three (3) Assistant Coaches on Coach’s staff (the “Salary Pool”). The division of such the Salary Pool shall be Coach’s discretion but shall require the approval of the Director of Athletics. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Salary Pool shall be subject to the same furlough and temporary salary reduction measures that may be imposed from time-to-time on other employees.
Assistant Coaches. The Head Coach will complete the Coaching Performance Evaluation for the Assistant Coach no later than 14 days from the conclusion of the traditional season each year. If this date falls on a weekend or holiday the deadline will be the next workday. The WPAF is to be submitted to the Athletic Director no later than 30 days from the conclusion of the traditional season each year. If this date falls on a weekend or holiday the deadline will be the next workday. The Assistant Coach is required to include the following in the WPAF:
Assistant Coaches. An assistant coach will request a multi-year contract from the head coach. The head coach will look at the criteria for awarding a multi-year contract to determine if the program would benefit from a multi-year commitment to an assistant coach. If the head coach supports the request, the head coach will forward his/her recommendation for appointment to the Athletic Director, and the President.
