Assignment of the Contract. This Contract is not assignable except with the prior written approval of the OAG. Payments due under the Contract are not assignable except with the prior written approval of the OAG, and the concurrence of the Chief Financial Officer of the State. In the event of such approval, the Contract terms and conditions will apply to and bind the party or parties to whom the Contract is assigned as fully and completely as the Contractor is hereunder bound and obligated. No assignment will operate to release the Contractor from its liability for the prompt and effective performance of its obligations under the Contract.
