Assignment of Duties. Executive shall have such duties as may be assigned to him from time to time by the Company's Board of Directors commensurate with his experience and responsibilities in the position for which he is employed pursuant to Section 1 above. Such duties shall be exercised subject to the control and supervision of the Board of Directors of the Company.

Assignment of Duties. 19.1.1 The designated supervisor shall assign duties as required. It is the responsibility of the designated supervisor to assign duties and to ensure such duties are assigned in a fair and equitable manner (see 29.4.3).

Expectations may vary according to the duties and position/rank of the academic staff member. Given the importance of the Faculty Criteria Document when used in the review process to assess the performance of members, clarity regarding duties and expectations is essential. In particular, the nature of accomplishments required for tenure, promotion and merit shall be set out clearly.
