Common use of Assignment by Employer Clause in Contracts

Assignment by Employer. To the extent permitted by state law, Employer may assign this Agreement to any subsidiary or corporate affiliate, or to any successor or assign (whether direct or indirect, by purchase, merger, consolidation or otherwise) to all or substantially all of the business or assets of Employer. This Agreement shall inure to the benefit of Employer and permitted successors and assigns.
