Common use of Artist Leaving a Cast Clause in Contracts

Artist Leaving a Cast. ‌ If the Artist leaves the cast after making a visual or sound recording the Engager may, in lieu of making a new recording, pay the Artist for the continued use of the recording (with the Artist’s written consent).

Artist Leaving a Cast. ‌ If the Artist leaves the cast after making a visual or sound recording for use in production the Engager may, in lieu of making a new recording, pay the Artist for the continued use of the recording (with the Artist’s 's written consent), at a rate per performance of not less than one-seventh (1/7) of the Artist's contractual weekly fee while engaged for the production.
