ARTICLE STEWARDS. The Union shall have the right to appoint or elect a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and an alternate ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ when the regular ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ is not available in each yard to assist employees in presenting their grievances to the Employer and supervise the administration of this Agreement. When the Employer has more than one (1) division covered by this Agreement, the Union have the right appoint or elect a reasonable number of Stewards. The Employer shall not require a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ to settle grievances during working hours without pay. No complaint or grievance may be or considered under the procedure unless it has been presented within five working days the time of occurrence of the incident giving rise lo the grievance. Any differences, disputes or complaints arising over the interpretation, administration or application this Agreement shall be submitted in writing in on forms supplied by the Union arid signed by the employee. The written record of grievance shall state the section or sections of the Agreement which it is alleged have been violated. There shall be an ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ effort on the part both parties to settle such grievances through the steps:

ARTICLE STEWARDS. ARTICLE STEWARDS. Should the Company find that the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’▇ activities interfere with the normal course of his duties or the duties of other employees, the Company may contact a Representative of the Local Union register a grievance, commencing with Step as outlined in Article section of this Agreement. The Union will inform the Company, in writing, of the name of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and of any subsequent change in the name of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. The Company will not be asked to recognize any ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ until such notification from the Union has been received. The Company will notify the Union by registered mail, fax or telegram prior to the suspension or discharge of a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. Failure of the company to comply with this procedure shall have render the right to appoint dismissal or elect suspension and void.
