ARTICLE I - RECOGNITION. A. The Board hereby recognizes the Association as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative as defined in Section II of Act 379 Public Acts of 1965, for all educational secretaries and all personnel engaged in secretarial and clerical work including all classifications in Appendix A of this Contract except the Administrative Assistants to the Superintendent of Schools, Executive Director of Human Resources and Deputy Superintendent for Financial Services. Other personnel, whose classifications are changed or created in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, will be included in the above unit.
