ARTICLE CHECK OFF. The Company agrees that it will deduct from the wages of each employee covered by this Agreement, whether or not the employee is a member of the Union, the amount of the regular monthly membership dues payable by a member of the Union. The amount shall be deducted from one pay each month and remitted monthly to the along with a list of the employees. The Company shall also deduct and remit to the Union the amount of initiation fees which a has authorized the Company to deduct by a written authorization. Monies deducted along with a list of names from whom such a deduction was made shall be remitted to the Union not later than the 15th day of the following month. The Union agrees to indemnify the Company and save it harmless from any and all claims which may be made against for the amounts deducted from the wages of employees under this Article. in case of a Union member being off through sickness or on vacation during the dues deduction pay period, his dues shall be taken off his first pay following his return to work.
