Architect Review. The ARCHITECT shall review and submit CONTRACTOR’S Shop Drawings, Product Data, Samples and other Submittals to the DISTRICT, in accordance with the latest Submittal Schedule accepted by the DISTRICT. If prints of the Shop Drawings, Product Data, Samples and other Submittals are returned to the CONTRACTOR marked "NO EXCEPTIONS TAKEN," formal revision of said drawing will not be required. If prints of the drawing are returned to the CONTRACTOR marked "MAKE CORRECTIONS NOTED," formal resubmittal of said drawings will not be required. If prints of the drawing are returned to the CONTRACTOR marked "REVISE AND RESUBMIT," the CONTRACTOR shall revise said drawing and shall resubmit six (6) copies of the revised drawing to the ARCHITECT. If prints of the drawing are returned to the CONTRACTOR marked "REJECTED RESUBMIT," the CONTRACTOR shall resubmit six (6) new copies of the drawing to the ARCHITECT.

Architect Review. The Architect shall review and approve shop drawings and samples with reasonable promptness so as to cause no delay, but only for conformance with the design concept of the Project and with the information given in the Contract Documents. The Architect’s approval of a separate item shall not indicate approval of any assembly in which the item functions. Upon the final completion of the Work, the Contractor shall furnish to the Architect two corrected copies of all shop or setting drawings showing the as-built condition of the Work. The Architect, after review, shall submit one of these copies to the Owner.
Architect Review. Based on the Architect’s evaluations of the Constructions Manager’s Applications for Payment, the Architect will review and certify the amounts due the Construction Manager and will issue Certificates for Payment in such amounts, subject to the requirements of Arizona law and administrative rules governing school district construction contracts, including A.R.S. §§ 41-2571, et seq. and A.A.C. R7-2-1109 et.seq.

  • Architect/Engineer (A/E) means a person registered as an architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1051, as a landscape architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1052, a person licensed as a professional engineer pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1001 and/or a firm employed by Owner or a design-build contractor to provide professional architectural or engineering services and to exercise overall responsibility for the design of a Project or a significant portion thereof, and to perform the contract administration responsibilities set forth in the Contract.

  • Design Review At appropriate stages of design, documented reviews of the design results shall be planned and conducted. Participants at each Design Review shall include representatives of all functions concerned with the design stage being reviewed, as well as other specialist personnel, as required. Records of such reviews shall be maintained. Any computer software used to perform alternative calculations or verify clearances through the use of scale models or computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) techniques shall be validated before the use of the application, with validation documented in accordance with Section 2.2.15.
