Aquatics Sample Clauses

The 'Aquatics' clause defines the rules and responsibilities related to the use of aquatic facilities or activities within an agreement. It typically outlines safety requirements, supervision standards, and any restrictions on access or permitted activities, such as swimming, diving, or boating. By clearly establishing these guidelines, the clause helps ensure participant safety and clarifies liability, thereby reducing the risk of accidents and disputes related to aquatic environments.

Aquatics. If an employee is transferred or promoted from one Area into another, he or she shall not carry his or her seniority into the Area of promotion or transfer for the purpose of bidding on future job postings in that Area. Only seniority earned in that area may be used for postings within the area. However, seniority earned previously in other Areas may be used to bid on job postings outside of the Area into which the employee was transferred or promoted.
Aquatics. Focused applied research for the aquatic component will build off the extensive work conducted in 2014/2015. Hypotheses to test and parameters to sample will be based on the results of the original study, professional judgment of the project team, and guidance provided at the first expert panel workshop. Extensive aquatic monitoring is proposed during this next round of sampling for two reasons: (1) aquatic community responses to a specific flow tier were variable, per the initial years’ worth of data; additional collections (and, consequently, a larger number of replicates and greater statistical power) should help to control the variability for the flow tiers quantified to date, and (2) sample size of several flow tiers (e.g., subsistence, 4/season, 3/season) were insufficient. Given that more samples at a site would help control variability, we propose potentially reducing the total number of sites surveyed but increasing the frequency of collections. Increased sampling frequency at fewer sites could also provide the resolution necessary to assess the mechanistic relationship between flow tiers and aquatic community responses. In addition, other habitat types (i.e., deep pools, deep runs, and backwater habitats) could be monitored at a site to help elucidate macroinvertebrate and fish movement patterns following a flow pulse (e.g., fish displaced from riffle but only moved a short distance downstream into a flow refuge habitat).
Aquatics. Devon’s planned program for managing aquatic systems for the Project includes the surface- water-quality monitoring program, fish and fish habitat assessments, and watercourse crossing plans for watercourse crossings (roads and pipelines) constructed for each successive stage of development. These assessments will be completed by qualified aquatic environmental specialists and will be designed to address the requirements of: • Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Fisheries Act; and • Alberta Environment, Code of Practice for Watercourse Crossings (2000). Protective measures and enhancements will be implemented during crossing construction. ▇▇▇▇▇ will follow the Measures to Protect Fish and Fish Habitat found within the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Operational Statements. In addition to monitoring water quality within the Project Area and constructing crossings to reduce potential impacts, Devon has become a member of RAMP. ▇▇▇▇▇ will work with other insitu operators in the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Lake area to make RAMP’s aquatic monitoring programs more relevant to Devon operations and local community stakeholders.

From the date of ratification ( February 15,2007) to June aquatics employees shall have the right to bump other aquatics employees or employees hired after the date of ratification (February subject to the restrictions on bumping contained in Article below. After June the restriction in Article below will continue to apply. The provisions of the Collective Agreement shall apply to the full-time permanent position of Head Lifeguard. An individual who does not work any hours within any shift listing shall be terminated and removed from the seniority list unless absent on an approved leave of absence or unless seniority prohibits them from working any hours. Once an employee has accepted they shall not be permitted to withdraw from those shifts except in exceptional circumstances. Any such occurrence will result in the employee being removed from all aquatics shifts for a minimum period of six months plus the period prior to the commencement of the next shift listing. Any additional occurrence will be considered immediate resignation and the provisions of (2) shall not apply.
Aquatics. All aquatic activities will be scheduled and conducted according to the CCCYO Camp aquatic policies and supervised by CCCYO Camp staff. Lifejackets must be worn at all times by boating participants. A swimming test will be conducted with each student before allowing them to swim in the deep end of the pools.
