Approved Use. 1.2.1. A description of the planned use by the Company is detailed on Exhibit C. The Company and Authorized Users shall be permitted to use the UVM Facilities and/or Equipment only for the specific research purposes set forth on Exhibit C (“Approved Use”).
Approved Use a. An employee shall be granted leave with full pay for actual illness or injury, confinement by reason of quarantine, serious illness or a member of the employee’s immediate family who is a permanent resident in his home upon certification from a physician stating the employee’s need to care for the ill family members, and/or non- routine visit to a physician or dentist for medical care up to the number of accumulated sick days the employee has earned. The payment of sick leave is contingent upon the approval of such statement by the Employer. The submission of a written signed statement or physician’s certificate shall be approved. However, the falsification of either a written signed statement or physician’s certificate shall be grounds for disciplinary action, including dismissal. Employees absent on sick leave for a period of three (3) consecutive work days (24 hours for those assigned to 8hr work days, 30 hours for those assigned to 10hr work days, and 36 hours for those assigned to 12hr work days) in a work week shall be requested to provide a physician’s statement verifying the nature of the illness and attesting to the employee’s fitness to return to work, as well as the expected date of return to work. The Sheriff may deny the use of sick leave for any requested leave if the employee fails to provide a qualifying reason for the leave. When sick leave is used, it shall be deducted from the employee’s sick leave credit in minimum increments of one-quarter hours 15 (fifteen minutes). Employees shall not use sick leave to cover tardiness that occurs do to non-medical related incidents. Effective upon the signing date of this Agreement, after five (5) unexcused uses (occurrences) in the one year period to begin each January first, the next unexcused sick leave uses shall be without pay up to the number of hours of the employee’s regularly scheduled shift. (That is, the first hours of sick leave use up to the number of hours of the employee’s regularly scheduled shift in a calendar year will be without pay). Unexcused sick leave shall be defined as any incident of sick leave not excused by a doctor’s note. Similarly, unexcused sick leave shall not include previously scheduled doctor’s appointments. In the event the County returns to a conventional insurance plan, five (5) unexcused uses (occurrences) will revert back to three (3) uses (occurrences).

Employees shall be granted leave with full pay for actual illness or injury, confinement for reason of quarantine, serious illness of the employee's immediate family at the Sheriff's discretion, upon certification from a physician stating the employee's need to care for the ill family member, and/or non-routine visit to a physician or dentist for medical care up to the number of accumulated sick days the employee has earned. Immediate family is defined as only: mother, father, brother, sister, child, minor step child, xxxxxx child, spouse, grandparent, grandchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law, legal guardian or other person who stands in the place of a parent. Paid sick leave for care of family members other than those listed above must be approved by the Sheriff. The Sheriff's approval will not be unreasonably withheld. Sick leave abuse will be grounds for termination. Employees absent on sick leave for a period of twenty-four (24) consecutive working hours may be requested to provide a physician's statement verifying the nature of the illness and attesting to the employee's fitness to return to work.
Approved Use. 2.1 When using the Service, including data sessions, you will follow all applicable laws and any Service rules adopted by us from time to time addressing such things as safe driving and health and safety guidelines. You can only use the Service for customary voice, messaging and wireless data service. Such customary use does not include any application or use which uses excessive network capacity or affects, degrades or interferes with our ability to provide services, including the Service, to others, as we determine.
Approved Use. The Xxxxxx Control Centre Services XXXx may only be used for IoT use cases purposes and any other uses, including for cellular phones or tablets, are strictly prohibited.
