The 'Approved Training' clause defines the specific training programs or courses that are officially recognized and sanctioned by the parties involved, typically an employer and employee. Approved Training. 1. The Personnel and Training Division will provide a Training Program as needed and will furnish and coordinate information on available training programs. The responsibility for attaining training will rest with the individual employee.
Approved Training. The approved training costs to be included as part of the Project are identified in the Training List. Grantee may apply for subsequent eligible training to be included as part of the Project under this Agreement which will be added to the Amendment to Training List upon approval of the eligible training.

Approved Training. The training event will review and support the e-learning and its associated assessment on completion of the training, community pharmacy staff will be able to: • Start a conversation about alcohol use with people. • Describe the service being offered including use of the alcohol screening tools (AUDIT C), brief advice tools (AUDIT) and referral pathways. • Explain the categories of risk drinking levels and the benefits of changing drinking behaviour. • Provide brief advice in a motivational, empathetic and non-judgmental way. • Understand the alcohol care pathway and know when and where to refer people to specialist services.
Approved Training. The Council shall encourage the acquisition of new skills relevant to the job and give employees the opportunity to undertake such job related training in accordance with an established training programme. That training may be undertaken on or off the job.
Approved Training. ‌ (a) Employees are required to undertake training appropriate to their role at the request of the Company. (b) Training will be scheduled at a mutually acceptable time, taking into account work requirements, the Employee's personal commitments, and the availability of training providers. (c) The Company will consider applications from Employees for paid training if the training is clearly relevant to the Employee's work, will increase Employee's skills and will add value to the organisation. (d) Payment for completing inductions or attending approved training will be at the Ordinary Time rate of pay.

Related to Approved Training

  • Required Training For training that is required by the Agency, manager or supervisor, the Agency shall reimburse one hundred percent (100%) of all related necessary and legitimate expenses, including but not limited to tuition, books, travel expenses, travel time, and attendance time. When practical, the Agency will attempt to adjust the employee’s hours if the approved training activity is scheduled during the employee’s normal work hours.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Technical Training The CAISO and the Participating TOs shall respond to reasonable requests for support and provide relevant technical training to each other’s employees to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the CAISO Controlled Grid and to comply with any NERC or WECC operator certification or training requirements. Examples of such technical training include, but are not limited to: (1) the theory or operation of new or modified equipment (e.g., control systems, Remedial Action Schemes, protective relays); (2) computer and applicator programs; and (3) CAISO (or Participating TO) requirements. The Parties shall enter into agreements regarding the timing, term, locations, and cost allocation for the training.

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.

  • Job Training ‌ The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes: (1) for planning training programs for those employees affected by technological change; (2) for planning training programs to enable employees to qualify for new positions being planned through future expansion or renovation; (3) for planning training programs for those employees affected by new methods of operation; (4) for planning training programs in the area of general skill upgrading. Whenever necessary, this Committee shall seek the assistance of external training resources such as the Federal Human Resources Development Canada and Provincial Ministry of Labour, or other recognized training institutions.
