Apprenticeships. 13.1.1 The parties are committed to providing increased employment opportunities for apprentices and trainees through an effective manufacturing industry policy and an increase in apprenticeship places in the TAFE system. Apprentices and Trainees will be paid for attending the required schooling to complete their apprenticeship or traineeship. 13.1.2 Apprentices will be paid the following percentages of the CIO rate of pay as set out in this agreement; Year 1 42% Year 2 55% Year 3 75% Year 4 88%
