Apprenticeship Training Fund. Each appointing power, upon approval of sufficient funds by the Legislature, shall contribute to the IUOE Apprenticeship Training Fund to provide a training program for both journey level employees who wish to improve their skills and apprentices entering the industry. The number of apprentices shall be capped at nine (9). The contribution, due in January of each year for each employee covered by this Agreement and on the payroll as of September 1 of the previous year, will be one hundred dollars ($100).

Apprenticeship Training Fund. The Employer shall contribute a maximum of the gross monthly labor payroll, which it is obligated to pay to Employees covered by this Agreement into the Lineman California- Nevada Joint Apprenticeship Training Trust Fund.
Apprenticeship Training Fund. The Parties to this Agreement have agreed pursuant to the Trust Document dated May to the establishment of the Atlantic Provinces Joint Apprenticeship Training Fund. The Trust Document under which this Fund is controlled shall provide for Trustees equal in number and in authority appointed each of the Parties thereto. The Board shall meet at least three (3) times annually and shall elect a Chairman and a Secretary, one of whom at all times shall be an employer nominated Trustee and a Union Trustee. The Joint Trade Board’s Terms of Reference shall include: The encouragement and promotion of an apprenticeshiptraining and journeyman upgrading program in all craft sectors represented by the Collective Agreement. The development and submission of draft legislation that may promote the industry. Development and implementation of trade specific health and safety programs. Other issues of mutual concern to the Parties that promote and enhance the industry. The Board is authorized to seek and obtain funding and grants from government agencies, etc. that may assist in implementing their policies. Specifically excluded from the Boards’ duties is the processing or settlement of grievances. The employer agrees to contribute the sum of fifty cents ($0.50) per hour effective May for each hour worked by each employee to the Atlantic Provinces Joint Apprenticeship and TrainingFund created by Trust Agreement. Included in these funds shall be the required contributions to the Labour Management Corporation Initiative and the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Fund. Contributions shall be remitted in accordance with Article The Joint Apprenticeship Training Fund Committee is authorized by both parties to this Agreement to establish rules and guidelines for apprentices and journeyperson upgrading in all facets of trades and safety training including the authority to alter and amend the published rates in this Agreement, provided they are exceeded and are also authorized to designate certain certifications as compulsory as a condition of future employment. The foregoing or any other matter can be changed on the Agreement of the Parties. ARTICLE
Apprenticeship Training Fund. The Employer shall contribute (see Wage and Fringe Benefits Supplement) per hour for all hours worked by or paid to employees in Wiremen classifications covered by this Agreement.
Apprenticeship Training Fund. (a) The Employer agrees to pay into the Michigan Laborers’ Training and Apprenticeship Fund. All training contributions shall be paid at the rate specified in Article VII on actual hours worked without regard to whether the employee was working on straight time or overtime. These contributions shall be made on each and every employee whether probationary, non-union, temporary, seasonal or casual. These contributions shall be deposited each month as determined by the Trustees.

This provision shall apply to management trustees and union trustees alike.

  • Apprenticeship and Training It is agreed that all Employers covered by this Agreement shall contribute a sum as listed in Schedule "A" herein for each compensable man-hour of Carpenters, including supervisory employees when covered by this Agreement.   • APPRENTICES 6.36.1 The Contractor acknowledges and agrees that, if this Contract involves a dollar amount greater than or a number of working days greater than that specified in Labor Code Section 1777.5, this Contract is governed by the provisions of Labor Code Section 1777.5. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure compliance with this Article and with Labor Code Section 1777.5 for all apprenticeable occupations.

  • Apprenticeship Program 68. The parties agree to meet to discuss the development of mutually agreeable apprenticeship programs. The specific provisions of the apprenticeship programs shall be subject to agreement between the SFMTA, the Civil Service Commission (where appropriate), and the Union. Each apprenticeship program, however, shall contain at least the following terms:

  • Apprentice Wages (a) Apprentices’ rates of pay are set out in Appendix B which includes the description of the calculations.

  • Apprenticeship Requirements The Contractor shall comply with Section 230.1(A), California Code of Regulations as required by the Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Apprenticeship Standards by submitting DAS Form to the Joint Apprenticeship Committee of the craft or trade in the area of the site.

  • Adult Apprentices People who are 21 years of age or over at the time of entering into an apprenticeship with the Employer will be paid as per the wage rates set out in the appropriate Appendix to this Agreement. Where special or unusual circumstances occur or apply and where the parties to this Agreement and the adult apprentice agree in writing, the adult apprentice may be paid at a lesser rate, provided that the lesser rate will not be less than the rate for a junior apprentice set out in the appropriate Appendix to this Agreement.

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.
