Appointed Sample Clauses

The 'appointed' clause defines the process or authority by which an individual or entity is officially designated to a specific role or responsibility under the agreement. Typically, this clause outlines who has the power to make such appointments, the criteria or procedures for selection, and any conditions or limitations on the appointment. For example, it may specify that a board of directors appoints a project manager or that a party must notify the other in writing of any new appointee. The core function of this clause is to ensure clarity and legitimacy in the assignment of roles, preventing disputes over who is authorized to act on behalf of a party or fulfill certain obligations.
