Common use of Application of Section 8 Clause in Contracts

Application of Section 8. The provisions of this Section 8 shall apply if a Change in Control of the Company occurs, and within the "Transitional Period," as described in Exhibit A to this Agreement, a Severance Event," also as described in Exhibit A occurs. For purposes of this Agreement, your Transitional Period shall be a period of 12 months. Exhibit A, also contains additional terms and conditions governing the rights and duties of Employee after the occurrence of a Severance Event within the Transitional Period.
