Common use of Any notice Clause in Contracts

Any notice. 20.4.1 delivered by hand to a responsible person during ordinary business hours at his Chosen Address, shall be deemed to have been received on the day of delivery; 20.4.2 if sent by prepaid registered post from within South Africa, be deemed to have been received within 5 (five) days of posting, unless the contrary can be proven; 20.4.3 sent by email to his Chosen Address, shall be deemed to have been received on the date of dispatch and at the time recorded by the computer/device used by the sender of the email (unless the contrary is proven).
