Common use of Annuity Date Clause in Contracts

Annuity Date. The Annuity Date may be no earlier than the first Contract Anniversary nor any later than the date the Annuitant would reach the Maximum Annuitization Age shown in the Contract Schedule. If you have not chosen an Annuity Date, it will be the date the Annuitant would reach the Maximum Annuitization Age shown in the Contract Schedule. For an IRA, if you have not chosen an Annuity Date, it will be the date the Annuitant reaches age 70 1/2. You may change the Annuity Date prior to the Annuity Date.
