ANIMAL COMPLAINTS. A. No live or dead animals 5hall be transported by patrol cars. B. Police officers shall nee be required to handle animal complaints, except when emergencies arise dur:ng times that the animal control employee is not available. C. Police officers assigned to emergency animal complaints shall be provided with necessary equipment and may use the animal truck. D. Whenever possible, the animal control officer will be assigned to write animal bite reports and make the ten-day checks.
