Analysis of Interconnection Requests. In accordance with the procedures under which the Parties provide interconnection service, each Party will coordinate with the other the conduct of any studies required in determining the impact of a request for generator or merchant transmission interconnection. Results of such coordinated studies will be included in the impacts reported to the interconnection customers as appropriate. Coordination of studies and upgrades will include the following: (a) Upon either the posting to the OASIS of a request for interconnection or the review of the study results related to that request for interconnection, the Party receiving the request (“direct connect system”) will determine whether the other Party is potentially impacted. If the other Party is potentially impacted, the directly connected system will notify the other Party and convey the information provided in the posting. (b) Following the results of either the Feasibility Study or the System Impact Study, the direct connect system will notify the other Party if the study shows potential reliability concerns on the other Party’s system. After reviewing the results, if the potentially impacted Party determines that its system may be materially impacted by the interconnection, that Party will contact the direct connect system and request participation in the applicable interconnection studies. The Parties will coordinate and mutually agree on with respect to the nature of studies to be performed to test the impacts of the interconnection on the potentially impacted Party, who will perform the studies. If the Parties cannot mutually agree on the nature of the studies to be performed they can resolve the differences through the dispute resolution procedures documented in Article XIV. The Parties will strive to minimize the costs associated with the coordinated study process. (c) Any coordinated studies will be performed in accordance with the study scope and timeline mutually agreed to in 9.3.3 (b) above utilizing the responsibility options outlined in 9.3.3 (d) below. (d) The potentially impacted Party may participate in the coordinated study at the System Impact Study or Feasibility Study stage, either by taking responsibility for performance of studies of its system, or by providing input to the studies to be performed by the direct connect system. For the purpose of determining the potential for Affected System impacts and the need to notify Affected Systems, Parties agree to monitor the other Parties’ systems when conducting interconnection request studies including all facilities rated 100 kV and above and contingencies on the other systems adjacent Balancing Authority Areas as appropriate in the judgement of the Direct Connect System. Results of any required coordinated studies shall be included in the impacts reported to the interconnection customers as appropriate. Coordination of studies shall include the following: 8.4.2.1 Upon a Party’s request, the Direct Connect System shall provide a complete listing of all interconnection requests and associated information for each interconnection request within 30 days of the Party’s request. 8.4.2.2 Upon either the posting to the OASIS or New Services Queue of a request for interconnection or the review of the study results related to that request for interconnection, the Party receiving the request (“Direct Connect System”) shall determine whether the other Parties are potentially impacted. If the other Parties are potentially impacted, the Direct Connect System shall notify such Party and convey the information provided in the posting. The Direct Connect System shall notify the Affected System if any of the following criteria in Sections 8.4.2.2 (a)(i), 8.4.2.2 (a)(ii), or 8.4.2.2 (b) are true: a. While performing the analysis of the interconnection request, the Direct Connect System identifies the potential for an adverse system condition through one or both the following tests: i. Thermal powerflow analysis and Associated Criteria: A contingency list for the Affected System shall be agreed upon by the Party for the Direct Connect System and the Party for the adjacent Affected System. Contingencies on both the Affected System and on the Direct Connect System are analyzed. Identify thermal loadings determined to: (1) have a pre and/or post-contingency loading of over 100% of the applicable rating in the modeling software on a monitored facility of 69 kV or above and (2) flow increases by 3% or more on the same monitored facility. ii. (c) Any coordinated studies will be performed in accordance with the study timeline requirements of the applicable generation interconnection procedures of the direct connect system.   • Interconnection Request The Interconnection Customer’s request, in accordance with the Tariff, to interconnect a new Small Generating Facility, or to materially increase the capacity of, or make a material modification to the operating characteristics of, an existing Small Generating Facility that is interconnected with the New York State Transmission System or the Distribution System. For the purposes of this Agreement, this definition of Interconnection Request shall supersede the definition of Interconnection Request set out in Attachment X to the ISO OATT. Interconnection Study – Any study required to be performed under Sections 32.2 or 32.3 of the SGIP. Material Modification – A modification that has a material impact on the cost or timing of any Interconnection Request with a later queue priority date. New York State Transmission System – The entire New York State electric transmission system, which includes: (i) the Transmission Facilities under ISO Operational Control; (ii) the Transmission Facilities Requiring ISO Notification; and (iii) all remaining transmission facilities within the New York Control Area. NYISO Deliverability Interconnection Standard – The standard that must be met, unless otherwise provided for by Attachment S to the ISO OATT, by (i) any generation facility larger than 2MW in order for that facility to obtain ▇▇▇▇; (ii) any Class Year Transmission Project proposing to interconnect to the New York State Transmission System and receive Unforced Capacity Delivery Rights; (iii) any entity requesting External ▇▇▇▇ Rights, and (iv) any entity requesting a ▇▇▇▇ transfer pursuant to Section 25.9.5 of Attachment S to the ISO OATT. To meet the NYISO Deliverability Interconnection Standard, the Interconnection Customer must, in accordance with the rules in Attachment S to the ISO OATT, fund or commit to fund any System Deliverability Upgrades identified for its project in the Class Year Deliverability Study. NYISO Minimum Interconnection Standard – The reliability standard that must be met by any generation facility or Class Year Transmission Project that is subject to NYISO’s Large Facility Interconnection Procedures in Attachment X to the ISO OATT or the NYISO’s Small Generator Interconnection Procedures in this Attachment Z, that is proposing to connect to the New York State Transmission System or Distribution System, to obtain ERIS. The Minimum Interconnection Standard is designed to ensure reliable access by the proposed project to the New York State Transmission System or to the Distribution System. The Minimum Interconnection Standard does not impose any deliverability test or deliverability requirement on the proposed interconnection. Operating Requirements – Any operating and technical requirements that may be applicable due to Regional Transmission Organization, Independent System Operator, control area, or the Connecting Transmission Owner’s requirements, including those set forth in the Small Generator Interconnection Agreement. Operating Requirements shall include Applicable Reliability Standards. Party or Parties – The NYISO, Connecting Transmission Owner, Interconnection Customer or any combination of the above. Point of Interconnection – The point where the Interconnection Facilities connect with the New York State Transmission System or the Distribution System. Reasonable Efforts – With respect to an action required to be attempted or taken by a Party under this Agreement, efforts that are timely and consistent with Good Utility Practice and are otherwise substantially equivalent to those a Party would use to protect its own interests. Small Generating Facility – The Interconnection Customer’s facility, no larger than 20 MW for the production and/or storage for later injection of electricity identified in the Interconnection Request if proposing to interconnect to the New York State Transmission System or Distribution System, but shall not include (i) facilities proposing to simply receive power from the New York State Transmission System or the Distribution System; (ii) facilities proposing to interconnect to the New York State Transmission System or the Distribution System made solely for the purpose of generation with no wholesale sale for resale nor to net metering; (iii) facilities proposing to the New York State Transmission System or the Distribution System made solely for the purpose of net metering; (iv) facilities proposing to interconnect to LIPA’s distribution facilities; and (v) the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities. A facility will be treated as a single Small Generating Facility if all units within the facility are behind a single facility meter, even if such units are different technology types. System Deliverability Upgrades – The least costly configuration of commercially available components of electrical equipment that can be used, consistent with Good Utility Practice and Applicable Reliability Requirements, to make the modifications or additions to the existing New York State Transmission System that are required for the proposed project to connect reliably to the system in a manner that meets the NYISO Deliverability Interconnection Standard for Capacity Resource Interconnection Service. System Upgrade Facilities – The least costly configuration of commercially available components of electrical equipment that can be used, consistent with Good Utility Practice and Applicable Reliability Requirements to make the modifications to the existing transmission system that are required to maintain system reliability due to: (i) changes in the system, including such changes as load growth and changes in load pattern, to be addressed in the form of generic generation or transmission projects; and (ii) proposed interconnections. In the case of proposed interconnection projects, System Upgrade Facilities are the modification or additions to the existing New York State Transmission System that are required for the proposed project to connect reliably to the system in a manner that meets the NYISO Minimum Interconnection Standard. Tariff – The NYISO’s Open Access Transmission Tariff, as filed with the FERC, and as amended or supplemented from time to time, or any successor tariff. Trial Operation shall mean the period during which Interconnection Customer is engaged in on- site test operations and commissioning of the Small Generating Facility prior to Commercial Operation. Upgrades – The required additions and modifications to the Connecting Transmission Owner’s portion of the New York State Transmission System or the Distribution System at or beyond the Point of Interconnection. Upgrades may be System Upgrade Facilities or System Deliverability Upgrades Distribution Upgrades. Upgrades do not include Interconnection Facilities.

  • Points of Interconnection and Trunk Types 2.1 Point(s) of Interconnection. 2.1.1 Each Party, at its own expense, shall provide transport facilities to the technically feasible Point(s) of Interconnection on Verizon’s network in a LATA selected by Covista.

  • Methods of Interconnection The Parties will negotiate the facilities arrangement used to interconnect their respective networks. CLEC shall establish at least one (1) physical Point of Interconnection in CenturyLink territory in each LATA CLEC has local End User Customers. CLEC represents and warrants that it is serving End User Customers physically located within each local calling area for which it wishes to exchange traffic within CenturyLink territory. The Parties shall establish, through negotiations, at least one (1) of the following Interconnection arrangements, at any Technically Feasible point: (1) a DS1 or DS3 CenturyLink-provided facility; (2) Collocation; (3) negotiated Mid-Span Meet POI facilities; or (4) other Technically Feasible methods of Interconnection via the Bona Fide Request (BFR) process unless a particular arrangement has been previously provided to a third party, or is offered by CenturyLink as a product. 7.1.2.1 CenturyLink-provided Facility. Interconnection may be accomplished through the provision of a DS1 or DS3 Entrance Facility of CLEC's determination. An Entrance Facility extends from the CenturyLink Serving Wire Center to CLEC's Switch location or any Technically Feasible POI chosen by CLEC. CenturyLink-provided Entrance Facilities may not extend beyond the area served by the CenturyLink Serving Wire Center. The rates for CenturyLink-provided Entrance Facilities are provided in Exhibit A. CenturyLink's private line transport service is available as an alternative to CenturyLink-provided Entrance Facilities, when CLEC uses such private line transport service for multiple services. Entrance Facilities may not be used for Interconnection with Unbundled Network Elements. 7.1.2.2 Collocation. Interconnection may be accomplished through the Collocation arrangements offered by CenturyLink. The terms and conditions under which Collocation will be available are described in Section 8 of this Agreement. 7.1.2.2.1 Expanded Interconnection Channel Termination (EICT) provides the communication path that actually connects the physical space or in the case of virtual collocation, the designated equipment to CenturyLink's direct trunked transport and must be ordered to provision LIS to a collocation. 7.1.2.3 Mid-Span Meet POI. A Mid-Span Meet POI is a negotiated Point of Interface, limited to the Interconnection of facilities between the CenturyLink Serving Wire Center location and the location of the CLEC switch or other equipment located within the area served by the CenturyLink Serving Wire Center. The actual physical Point of Interface and facilities used will be subject to negotiations between the Parties. Each Party will be responsible for its portion of the build to the Mid-Span Meet POI. The Mid-Span Meet POI will be used exclusively as an Interconnection facility and cannot be used for other purposes such as Unbundled Network Elements or Access Services.

  • Information Requests The parties hereto shall provide any information reasonably requested by the Servicer, the Issuer, the Seller or any of their Affiliates, in order to comply with or obtain more favorable treatment under any current or future law, rule, regulation, accounting rule or principle.

  • Network Interconnection Architecture Each Party will plan, design, construct and maintain the facilities within their respective systems as are necessary and proper for the provision of traffic covered by this Agreement. These facilities include but are not limited to, a sufficient number of trunks to the point of interconnection with the tandem company, and sufficient interoffice and interexchange facilities and trunks between its own central offices to adequately handle traffic between all central offices within the service areas at a P.01 grade of service or better. The provisioning and engineering of such services and facilities will comply with generally accepted industry methods and practices, and will observe the rules and regulations of the lawfully established tariffs applicable to the services provided.
