Common use of Amendments to be in writing and to be approved Clause in Contracts

Amendments to be in writing and to be approved. No amendment of any provision of this Agreement shall be effective unless: such amendment is in writing and signed and dated by, or on behalf of, the parties; and if it is an amendment which requires the Office of Rail and Road’s approval under section 22 of the Act, the amendment has been approved by the Office of Rail and Road.
