Common use of Amendment to Comply with Law Clause in Contracts

Amendment to Comply with Law. This BAA shall be deemed amended to incorporate any mandatory obligations of Covered Entity or Business Associate under the HITECH Act and its implementing HIPAA Regulations. Additionally, the Parties agree to take such action as is necessary to amend this BAA from time to time as necessary for Covered Entity to implement its obligations pursuant to HIPAA, the HIPAA Regulations, or the HITECH Act.

Amendment to Comply with Law. This The parties agree to enter into an amendment to this BAA shall be deemed amended to incorporate any mandatory obligations of Covered Entity or Business Associate under the HITECH Act and its implementing HIPAA Regulations, as applicable, and as mutually agreed between the parties. Additionally, the Parties agree to take such action as is reasonably necessary to amend this BAA from time to time as necessary for Covered Entity to implement its obligations pursuant to HIPAA, the HIPAA Regulations, or the HITECH Act, and to the extent mutually acceptable to the parties.

Additionally, the Parties agree to take such action as is necessary to amend this BAA from time to time as necessary for Covered Entity Business Associate 1 to implement its obligations pursuant to HIPAA, the HIPAA Regulations, or the HITECH Act.
