Alternate. The Alternate Work Shift shall consist of a fixed schedule not exceeding eleven (11) hours of work within a day. An Alternative Work Shift shall have an agreed upon schedule of hours per work day and days per work week. Examples of Alternative Work Shifts: four 10 hour days per work week; a nine/eighty FLSA compliant schedule where employees work eighty (80) hours in nine days with one additional day off every other week; a work schedule with a varying number of hours of work not exceeding eleven (11) hours in a day or 40 hours in a work week.
