Alternate. Subject to applicable law, the Series A Director and the Management Directors, in the case of his or her absence, shall be entitled to appoint an alternate to serve at any Board meeting, and such alternate shall be permitted to attend all Board meetings and vote on behalf of the director for whom she or he is serving as an alternative.
Alternate. An Alternate is a variation in the Work on which the Owner requires a price separate from the City Building General Conditions Base Bid. If an Alternate is accepted by the Owner, the variation will become a part of the Contract through the execution of a change order or amendment to the Contract and the Base Bid will be adjusted to include the amount quoted. If an alternate is accepted by the Owner, and later deleted prior to any Work under the alternate being performed or materials delivered to the Project site, the Owner will be entitled to a credit in the full value of the alternate as priced in the Prime Contractor’s Bid.

Alternate a work schedule approved the Department Head and the City Manager, which establishes a different work schedule than those listed above that starts before the Standard 8:00 am and terminates 8½ - 9 hours later, depending on the lunch period.

Alternate. The alternate will function in the absence of the Directors. The Employer will not recognize a Director or alternate from outside of the Bargaining Unit.
Alternate. The Alternate Work Shift shall consist of a fixed schedule not exceeding eleven (11) hours of work within a day. An Alternative Work Shift shall have an agreed upon schedule of hours per work day and days per work week. Examples of Alternative Work Shifts: four 10 hour days per work week; a nine/eighty FLSA compliant schedule where employees work eighty (80) hours in nine days with one additional day off every other week; a work schedule with a varying number of hours of work not exceeding eleven (11) hours in a day or 40 hours in a work week.

Alternate. All representatives shall have a demonstrated knowledge of contract maintenance. The Committee shall select a Chairperson and a Secretary from the Committee, but not both from the same group.
