Allocation Principles. (a) Where costs or expenses relate to the Rail Study and other works, and those costs or expenses are reasonably attributable to the other works, then those costs or expenses will be allocated by Aurizon Network to the other works to which they are reasonably attributable. (b) Where: (i) costs or expenses relate to the Rail Study and other works; and (ii) paragraph (a) of this item 4 of this schedule 5 does not apply, then Aurizon Network must allocate those costs or expenses to the other works on a pro-rata basis based on the proportion that the budgeted costs and expenses for the other works bears to the total of the budgeted costs and expenses for the other works and the Rail Study.
