Air Temperature Sample Clauses

The Air Temperature clause defines the specific temperature requirements that must be maintained or achieved in a given environment, such as a building or workspace. It typically sets minimum and/or maximum allowable temperatures, and may specify how and when these temperatures are to be measured or maintained, for example, during working hours or throughout the year. This clause ensures that environmental conditions meet comfort, safety, or operational standards, thereby protecting occupants and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Air Temperature. Check with thermometer, or best estimate, and fill in °F or °C. Indicate number of adults (gen. >3" length) at or near breeding site, and break down by sex, if possible. Sub-adults: YOY=Young of the year (metamorphs), 1 Yr. generally less than 1" SVL.
Air Temperature. Spread the mixture only when the air temperature in the shade and away from artificial heat meets the requirements of Table 334-4. 334-5.3 Mix Temperature 334-5.4 Transportation of the Mixture 334-5.5 Preparation of Surfaces Prior to Paving 334-5.5.1 Cleaning: Clean the surface of all loose and deleterious material by the use of power brooms or blowers, supplemented by hand brooming where necessary.

Air Temperature. The drag that a projectile encounters is a function of Mach Number (ratio of the velocity of the projectile to the speed of sound). The drag varies appreciably with Mach Number, particularly for transonic flight. Since the speed of sound is a function of air temperature, it follows that changes in air temperature will change the Mach Number, thereby changing the drag and consequently the range. This effect is sometimes called the elasticity effect. It should not be confused with the distinctly separate effect which air temperature produces through its influence on air density. The elevation tabulated in column 1 is computed in an ICAO standard atmosphere. The real temperature at any given height is recorded and transmitted as a percent of the standard absolute temperature for that height. Columns 14/15 allow to take into account the effect of a decrease (increase) of one percent in air temperature.

  • Configuration The configuration for the Purchase Right Aircraft will be the Detail Specification for Model 767-3S2F aircraft at the revision level in effect at the time of the Supplemental Agreement. Such Detail Specification will be revised to include (i) changes required to obtain required regulatory certificates and (ii) other changes as mutually agreed upon by Boeing and Customer.

  • Calibration The comparison of a measurement system or device of unverified accuracy with a measurement system of known and greater accuracy to detect deviation of the unverified measurement system from required performance specifications (of the unverified measurement system or device) and to quantify all measured values to applicable units of the international system of units.

  • Illumination Normal and emergency AC and DC illumination shall be provided adequately in the control room and other buildings of the substation. The switchyard shall also be provided with adequate illumination. The lighting of the entire control room building, fire-fighting pump house, other building (if any) and switchyard shall be done by LED based low power consumption luminaries.

  • Metering The Interconnection Customer shall be responsible for the Connecting Transmission Owner’s reasonable and necessary cost for the purchase, installation, operation, maintenance, testing, repair, and replacement of metering and data acquisition equipment specified in Attachments 2 and 3 of this Agreement. The Interconnection Customer’s metering (and data acquisition, as required) equipment shall conform to applicable industry rules and Operating Requirements.
