Aggregate Use for Spouses. In the situation where husband and wife are both employed by CCCERA, the family care of medical leave entitlement based on the birth, adoption or xxxxxx care of a child is limited to an aggregate for both employees together of eighteen (18) weeks during a “rolling” twelve (12) month period measured backward from the date the employee uses his/her FMLA leave. Employees requesting family care leave are required to advise their appointing authority(ies) when their spouse is also employed by CCCERA.
