Affected work. CONTRACTOR shall comply with Labor Code sections 1774 and 1775 in relation to payment of prevailing wages for any portion of the required work performed under this Agreement on or after January 1, 2002 relating to construction design, testing, surveying and/inspection work, and construction if the State Director of Industrial Relations has established prevailing wage rates for the types of work involved.
Affected work. Association agrees to comply with the applicable requirements of Labor Code section 1770, et seq. relating to payment of prevailing wages for repairs, modifications and improvements to the Fairgrounds property and facilities.
Affected work. CM/GC shall bear the cost of correcting destroyed or damaged construction, whether completed or partially completed, of Owner or separate contractors caused by CM/GC's correction or removal of Nonconforming Work, subject to recovery under property insurance provided in accordance with Section 32.9.

  • Related Work Leave not to exceed one (1) year may be granted to an employee to accept a position of fixed duration outside of State service which is funded by a government or private foundation grant and which is related to the employee's current work.

  • Complete Work without Extra Cost Except to the extent otherwise specifically stated in this contract, the Contractor shall obtain and provide, without additional cost to the City, all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, facilities, services, permits, and licenses necessary to perform the Work.

  • Modified Work Where the Hospital and the Union agree, the Hospital may implement modified/rehabilitative work programs in order to assist employees returning to work following illness or injury. To facilitate these programs, it is understood and agreed that provisions of the collective agreement may, where agreed, be varied. The specific terms of the program will be signed by the Hospital and the Union.

  • REDUCTION IN WORK FORCE (a) In the event of a reduction in the work force, regular full-time and regular part-time employees shall be laid off in reverse order of seniority, provided that there are available employees with greater seniority who are qualified and have the ability to do the work of the employees laid off. The Employer shall give regular employees written notice of layoff or normal pay for that period in lieu of notice as follows: i) One (1) weeks’ notice after three (3) consecutive months of employment, ii) Two (2) weeks’ notice after twelve (12) consecutive months of employment, iii) Three (3) weeks’ notice after three (3) consecutive years, plus one additional week for each additional year of employment to a maximum of eight (8) weeks. iv) Employees shall be entitled to Group Termination notice/pay pursuant to Section 64 of the Employment Standards Act. (b) Laid-off regular employees shall retain their seniority and perquisites accumulated up to the time of layoff, for a period of one (1) year and shall be rehired, if the employee possesses the capability of performing the duties of the vacant job on the basis of the posting procedure. If a laid-off employee is not recalled to work within twelve (12) calendar months of layoff, such employee may be terminated by written notification at the expiration of the twelve (12) calendar month period. Laid-off employees failing to report for work of an ongoing nature within seven (7) days of the date of receipt of notification by registered mail shall be considered to have abandoned their right to employment.
