Advanced Pool Hiring (external). In the event that the Board anticipates the need to offer employment to applicants prior to the staffing procedures described in this Collective Agreement, the Board will advertise externally for an advanced pool of Teachers following consultation with the Joint Staffing Committee. No Teacher will lose his/her employment entitlement with the Hastings and Xxxxxx Xxxxxx District School Board as the result of external hiring. Offers to advanced pool candidates will not interfere with the rights of any current members as described in the Collective Agreement. Teachers hired externally will be assigned to the Education Centre until such time as they are assigned to an elementary school by the Joint Staffing Committee.
