Addressing Custom Fraud and Illegal. Imports Social Partners have agreed that existing measures to address customs fraud and illegal imports should be enhanced and that implementation of the new measures, (e.g. measures to ensure all importers are VAT-compliant) including those in the new Customs legislation, should be expedited to address this problem, both at the ports of entry, but also inside the country (e.g. post clearance audit, manufacturing under rebate, warehousing etc.). Agreements reached thus far have been integrated into the Jobs Summit Agreement. These include the following.
