Additional Work Days. Members who are required in writing by the President or Vice President of Academic Affairs to work more than 155 days in a contract year shall be paid at the rate of 1/155 of their regular salary for each additional day worked.
Additional Work Days. Professional development or curriculum development days are not an entitlement and will be offered at the discretion of the administration. Days or additional hours that are offered in any given year are not to be considered as recurring days in subsequent years. Reimbursement for each day or additional hour will be based on federal or state grant funding and will be at the Board approved hourly rate. Additional work days for the guidance counselor and school-to-work coordinator will be offered at the discretion of the administration. Reimbursement for each day will be the rate of the average daily wage for the professional secondary staff in the contract year.
Additional Work Days. In the event that an administrator is required to work beyond their scheduled number of contract days, the administrator will receive compensation equal to the administrator’s normal daily rate. Prior approval for the Superintendent/designee to attend a District directed event would be required for any additional work days.
Additional Work Days. Salaries of Administrators who are required to work additional days shall be prorated for the actual time worked as approved by the Superintendent. The Administrator who works on a non-scheduled work day, that is not part of their regular administrative duties, with pre-approval by the Superintendent, will be paid per diem or have the option of a flex day if it does not impact students.
Additional Work Days. The Superintendent may require any administrator to work beyond the two-hundred (200) days, in which case, he/she would receive his/her rate of pay or compensatory time at the discretion of the Superintendent.
Additional Work Days. Two (2) additional days of work will be added to the secondary work year, one before the start of school and one after the end of school, to be devoted to cleaning and preparation for the opening and closing of schools, or other duties as assigned by Nutrition Services management.
Additional Work Days. Members of the bargaining unit required to work beyond the number of work days stated in Schedule A of this contract shall be reimbursed at a rate of $35.00 per hour. Should a member need to work beyond the regular contracted time to complete their Schedule B duties, he/she shall be required to receive permission from the superintendent prior to commencing work.
Additional Work Days. If teachers are required to work more than one hundred eighty (180) days in any single school term, such teachers shall be compensated at the rate of one-one hundred eightieth (1/180) of the compensation prescribed in Appendix A of this Agreement.
Additional Work Days. A. The District may request certificated employees to work additional days over and above the 180.5 paid contract days.
Additional Work Days. Effective beginning July 1, 2022, after consultation with the Board President, the Superintendent may work an additional four (4) eight-hour work days at the per diem rate each school year for work performed on behalf of the District.
