Additional Temporary Disability Benefit Clause Samples
The Additional Temporary Disability Benefit clause provides for extra financial support to an employee who is temporarily unable to work due to a work-related injury or illness. This benefit supplements standard temporary disability payments, often covering a higher percentage of lost wages or extending the duration of payments beyond the basic period. Its core function is to ensure that injured employees receive adequate income during their recovery, addressing gaps that might exist in standard disability coverage and helping to alleviate financial hardship during periods of temporary incapacity.
