Additional Qualifications. Eligible unit members who also meet at least one of the following four criteria since the last change in rank or date of hire, whichever is later: A. Evidence of significant relevant professional development; B. Significant contribution to the College or community service; C. Falling in the top 20% of the College faculty in that unit member’s most recent two successive student evaluations; D. Highly effective instructional performance of a faculty member or highly effective performance of a professional staff member in the professional judgment of the President of the College; shall be accorded a change in rank.

Additional Qualifications. An allowance for additional qualifications shall be paid to a teacher: provided that evidence of such additional qualifications is filed with the Secretary-Treasurer. This allowance shall take effect the first day of the teaching month following receipt of evidence (copy of official notice) of successful completion of requirements for a higher classification.
Additional Qualifications. (a) Any employee in the Advanced Process Support Operator classification may be required to attend training to obtain additional accredited qualifications required for: (i) fork-lift operation; (ii) pallet truck operation; (iii) high lift platform operation; (iv) dogging; (v) pendant crane operation; (vi) rigging. (d) The additional qualifications in clauses 4.1.4 (a) to (c) are intended to enable employees to operate particular equipment or perform particular tasks incidental and peripheral to work within their classification. Within these limits, employees will utilise such additional qualifications as required. (e) Employees will not be required or expected to gain trade qualifications or licences (such as restricted electrical licences) outside their own Trade Discipline.
