Additional Qualifications. Eligible unit members who also meet at least one of the following four criteria since the last change in rank or date of hire, whichever is later:
A. Evidence of significant relevant professional development;
B. Significant contribution to the College or community service;
C. Falling in the top 20% of the College faculty in that unit member’s most recent two successive student evaluations;
D. Highly effective instructional performance of a faculty member or highly effective performance of a professional staff member in the professional judgment of the President of the College; shall be accorded a change in rank.
Additional Qualifications. Additional salary, in accordance with the following:
i). Appendix B to this Agreement in the case of faculty; and

Additional Qualifications. 28.5.1 Employees who have successfully completed post graduate education programs resulting in the qualifications of: Advanced Registered Technologist (CSMLS); MLT plus Baccalaureate (MLS); Registered Radiation Technologist plus X.Xx. In Radiological Technology; shall receive one (1) additional step increment to the top of the wage scale (not including LSI).
Additional Qualifications. 3.9.1 Where an employee gains an additional relevant qualification (as per their job description) and is below the entry step in the salary scale for that qualification or combination of qualifications in 3.2.2 he or she will, from the date of official notification of the awarding of the additional qualification, move to the minimum entry step. This date shall become their new anniversary date for salary progression purposes.
3.9.2 Where a Special Education Adviser, Adviser on Deaf Children, Kaitakawaenga or Early Intervention Teacher who has been held on step 8 under 3.1.1
Additional Qualifications. 3.9.1 Where an employee gains an additional relevant qualification (as per their job description) and is below the entry step in the salary scale for that qualification or combination of qualifications in 3.2.2 he or she will, from the date of official notification of the awarding of the additional qualification, move to the minimum entry step. This date shall become their new anniversary date for salary progression purposes.
3.9.2 Where an employee gains an additional qualification relevant to their role or a combination of qualifications in clause 3.2.2, they will progress to the next step in the remuneration scale from the date of official notification of the awarding of the additional qualification, unless they have reached the top of their salary band. This date will be the employee’s new anniversary date for salary progression purposes. Where there is uncertainty regarding if the additional qualification is directly related to the employees specialist field the relevant Director of Education (or equivalent role) shall make a decision on the relatedness of the qualification.
Additional Qualifications. An allowance for additional qualifications shall be paid to a teacher: provided that evidence of such additional qualifications is filed with the Secretary-Treasurer. This allowance shall take effect the first day of the teaching month following receipt of evidence (copy of official notice) of successful completion of requirements for a higher classification.
Additional Qualifications. (a) Any employee in the Advanced Process Support Operator classification may be required to attend training to obtain additional accredited qualifications required for:
(i) fork-lift operation;
(ii) pallet truck operation;
(iii) high lift platform operation;
(iv) dogging;
(v) pendant crane operation;
(vi) rigging.
(b) Any employee in a Production Classification may be required to attend training to obtain additional accreditation qualifications required for:
(i) fork-lift operation;
(ii) pallet truck operation;
(iii) high lift platform operation;
(iv) fixed-point pendant crane operation.
(c) Any employee in an Engineering Classification may be required to attend training to obtain additional accredited qualifications required for:
(i) high lift platform operation;
(ii) fixed-point pendant crane operation.
(d) The additional qualifications in clauses 4.1.4 (a) to (c) are intended to enable employees to operate particular equipment or perform particular tasks incidental and peripheral to work within their classification. Within these limits, employees will utilise such additional qualifications as required.
(e) Employees will not be required or expected to gain trade qualifications or licences (such as restricted electrical licences) outside their own Trade Discipline.
