Action by the Appointing Authority. The appointing authority after giving reasonable consideration to the recommendation(s) of the review committee shall advise the probationer regarding the award of tenure or non- renewal not later than one (1) complete quarter, except summer quarter, before the expiration of the probationary faculty appointment in any regular college year. Prior to taking action, the appointing authority shall announce the review committee's recommendation concerning the renewal or non-renewal of a probationary faculty appointment or the award or non-award of tenure.
