Common use of Accounting Systems Clause in Contracts

Accounting Systems. The PERFORMING PARTY shall have an accounting system which accounts for costs in accordance with generally accepted accounting standards or principles and complies in all material respects with applicable State law, regulations, and policies relating to accounting standards or principles. The PERFORMING PARTY must account for costs in a manner consistent with such standards or principles. This system shall provide for the identification, accumulation, and segregation of allowable and unallowable project costs among projects.
