Access to Updates Sample Clauses
The 'Access to Updates' clause defines the rights and procedures for a party to receive new versions, enhancements, or improvements to a product or service during the contract term. Typically, this clause specifies whether updates are provided automatically or upon request, and may clarify if updates are included at no additional cost or require separate payment. Its core practical function is to ensure that the recipient remains current with the latest features, security patches, or regulatory changes, thereby reducing operational risks and maintaining the value of the product or service over time.
