Accepting. a Per Course appointment from the University shall not restrict the Per Course Instructor from engaging in other employment, professional, scholarly or scientific activities, provided such employment or activities do not conflict with the performance of the duties and responsibilities of the Per Course Instructor and further provided that the Per Course Instructor shall not represent himself or herself as acting on behalf of the University, unless specifically authorized to do so. However, nothing shall prevent the Per Course Instructor from stating the nature of his or her appointment with the University.
