Acceptability of Insurers Clause Samples

Acceptability of Insurers. Insurance is to be placed with insurers with a current A.M. Best’s rating of no less than A-VI, unless otherwise acceptable to City.

Acceptability of Insurers. Insurance is to be placed with insurers acceptable to CITY's Risk Manager.

Acceptability of Insurers. Insurance is to be placed with insurers with a current A.M. Best’s rating no less than A:VIII, licensed to do business in California, and satisfactory to the City.

Acceptability of Insurers. All insurance required by this section is to be placed with insurers with a Bests' rating of no less than A:VII.

Acceptability of Insurers. Each such policy shall be from a company or companies with a current A.M. Best's rating of no less than A:VII and authorized to transact business of insurance in the State of California, or otherwise allowed to place insurance through surplus line brokers under applicable provisions of the California Insurance Code or any federal law.

Acceptability of Insurers. The insurance required herein must be placed with carriers as follows: (i) Insurer with a current financial responsibility rating of A (Excellent) or better and a current financial size category (FSC) of V (capital surplus and conditional surplus funds of greater than $10 million) or greater as reported by A.M. Best Company or equivalent. (ii) For Worker’s Compensation only, admitted (licensed) in the State of California.

Acceptability of Insurers. Insurance is to be placed with insurers authorized to conduct business in the state with a current A.M. Best’s rating of no less than A:VII, unless otherwise acceptable to the City.

Acceptability of Insurers. Unless under the circumstances a different rating is otherwise acceptable to the City in its sole and absolute discretion, insurance is to be placed with insurers which are satisfactory to the City and which meet either of the following criteria : (1) an insurer with a current A.M. Best’s rating no less than A-:VII and licensed as an admitted insurance carrier in California; or (2) an insurer with a current A.M. Best’s rating no less than A-:X and authorized to issue the required policies in California.

Acceptability of Insurers. The insurance policies required under this Section 11 shall be issued by an insurer admitted to write insurance in the State of California with a rating of A:VII or better in the latest edition of the A.M. Best Insurance Rating Guide. Self-insurance shall not be considered to comply with the insurance requirements under this Section 11.
