Absence Reporting System. Any bargaining unit member who uses any type of leave under Article 10 of this Agreement shall enter their absence in the District’s absence reporting system within ten (10) calendar days their return to duty. Failure to do so: A. Shall result in a deduction of available, appropriate paid leave, or if not available, in a per diem deduction in pay; and B. May result in progressive discipline. However, prior to administering discipline, administration shall first provide written/email notice to the unit member of the need to comply with this Section. Thereafter, should the unit member again fail to comply with this Section, administration may administer discipline.
