Common use of 911 Service Clause in Contracts

911 Service. An emergency reporting system to facilitate the reporting of emergencies requiring response by a public safety agency whereby a caller can dial a common number (911) for emergency services. Basic 911 is an emergency telephone system which automatically connects 911 callers to a designated answering point. Call routing is determined by originating Central Office only. Basic 911 may or may not support ANI and/or ALI.
