070 Traffic control. Traffic control devices will be designed to meet the referenced standards during the final design process.
A. The applicant shall furnish, place and maintain all required traffic-control devices (both vehicular and pedestrian) as per the most recent edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices published by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
B. No facilities shall be installed within five feet to any water main or other pipe or conduit or other utility without prior approval of the city engineer. This separation distance is for parallel facilities and not facility crossings. During final design the required 5' separation will be confirmed or otherwise coordinated with the city engineer. 12.01.090 Standards for restoration of surfaces.
