Planning and Development Bureau. The Office shall have the following powers and functions 1) Prepare the region's long, medium and short term plans; follow up and evaluate their implementation: prepares a report and submits it to the concerned bodies: 2) Prepare macro-economic and fiscal framework; submits it to the administrative Council for approval; 3) Conduct a feasibility study of capital projects of the regional government; evaluates it and cause it to be approved; 4) Prepare the annual budget allocation formula of the lower levels of the state and submits it to the region administrative council for approval. 5) Monitor and evaluate the implementation of capital projects in the region; prepare a timely report and submit it to the relevant bodies; 6) Conduct a study on macroeconomic policy implementation; 7) Study the development gap and development potential of the region አቅም ጥናት ያዯርጋሌ 8) የክሌለን የማህበራዊና ኢኮኖሚያዊ ገፅታ ጥናት ያዯርጋሌ፣ 9) የክሌለን የመካከሇኛ ጊዜ የማክሮ ኢኮኖሚና ፊስካሌ ማዕቀፍ ያዘጋጃሌ፤ ያስፀዴቃሌ፤ 10) የክሌለን ዓመታዊ የሀብት ግመታ ሰነዴ ያዘጋጃሌ፤ ሇክሌለ መስተዲዴር ምክር ቤት በማቅረብ ያስፀዴቃሌ፤ 11) የክሌለን የኢኮኖሚ፣ የማህበራዊና መሌክአ ምዴራዊ መረጃዎችን ይሰበስባሌ፤ ያዯራጃሌ፤ ትንተና በማዴረግ ሇተጠቃሚዎች ያሰራጫሌ፤ 12) የክሌለን ማህበራዊ ኢኮኖሚያዊ ሌማት ስርጭትንና የመሌክዓ ምዴራዊ ገፅታን የሚያሳይ አትሊስና ካርታ ያዘጋጃሌ፤ 13) የክሌለ መንግሥት መስሪያ ቤቶች በሥራቸው ኃሊፊነት የሚያመነጩትን ስታቲስቲካዊ መረጃዎችን የማሰባሰብ፣ የማዯራጀት፣የመተንተንና ሇተጠቃሚዎች ተዯራሽ እንዱሆን የማዴረግ እንዱሁም ስታንዲርደንና ጥራቱን ጠብቆ እንዱዘጋጅ ዴጋፍ፣ ክትትሌ እና ኦዱት ያዯርጋሌ፣ በመረጃዎች ኦዱት ግኝት መሠረት ተገቢውን የማስተካከያ እርምጃ ይወስዲሌ፤ 14) የክሌለን የመረጃ ክፍተት ሇማሟሊት የጥናትና ምርምር ሥራዎችን ያከናውናሌ፤ 15) የክሌለን የስታቲስቲክስ መረጃ ሥርዓት በማዘመን ሇመንግስታዊ መስሪያ ቤቶች ዴጋፍ ይሰጣሌ፤ ሥራውን ያስተባብራሌ፤ ይመራሌ፤ 16) የሥነ- ህዝብ ጉዲዮችን በሌማት ዕቅዴ አካቶ ከመተግበር አኳያ መንግሥታዊና መንግሥታዊ ያሌሆኑ ዴርጅቶችን
