Zone I definition

Zone I means those waters north of 61E latitude subject to Canada's jurisdiction seaward of the Territorial Sea boundary as measured from lines drawn pursuant to the Territorial Sea Geographical Co-ordinates (Area 7) Order SOR/85-872 that are not part of the Nunavut Settlement Area or another land claim settlement area;
Zone I means the following lengths of road: -
Zone I. The geographic area bordered by Highway on the north, Highway on the west and Morningside on the east; Free Zone.

Examples of Zone I in a sentence

  • Items not specifically addressed in this section are the same as for Wind Zone I installations.

  • Note: A Wind Zone I unit, built on or after September 1, 1997, may not be installed in a Wind Zone II area.

  • Each well has a Zone I protective radius and a Zone II protection area.

  • Zone I : The area closest to a well; a 100 to 400 foot radius proporti onal to the well’s pumping rate.

More Definitions of Zone I

Zone I means the area of land situate within the Protected Water Area, as outlined approximately as Zone 1 on Map “A” attached to the designation;

Zone I. Students residing in the LMS feeder pattern regardless of whether they currently attend SBISD. For the 2012-2013 school year, within Priority Zone 1, there are six SBISD elementary schools in the feeder pattern for LMS. For three of these feeder elementary schools, chosen by the SBISD Superintendent in his sole discretion prior to the date of the lottery, a cap of no more than 15 students from any fifth grade class may be accepted for the fifth grade class at XXXX Courage; for the remaining three feeder elementary schools, as chosen by the SBISD Superintendent in his sole discretion prior to the date of the lottery, a cap of no more than 10 students from any fifth grade class may be accepted for the fifth grade class at XXXX Courage. This cap applies to Eligible Students currently enrolled in SBISD at the time of application and does not include students zoned to an SBISD school but not currently enrolled. The Parties agree to review the cap described in this Section prior to the lottery for each subsequent year of this Contract. If modifications are made, they will be stated in writing and signed by the Superintendent of each Party prior to the date of the lottery each year.

Related to Zone I

  • Zone 3 means all of that part of the Lower Peninsula south of the line described in subdivision (bb).

  • Zone 2 means British Columbia and Alberta Receipt Points and Liquids Receipt Points at or upstream of the Blueberry Hill Compressor Station. ARTICLE 2 QUALITY‌ 2.1 Subject to Articles 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 2.7 and 21.1 hereof, Gas tendered to Transporter at Receipt Points shall conform to the following Quality Specifications:‌

  • Zone 1 means Alberta Receipt Points and Liquids Receipt Points downstream of the Blueberry Hill Compressor Station.

  • Floodplain or flood-prone area means any land area susceptible to being inundated by water from any source. See "Flood or flooding."

  • Waterway means any body of water.

  • Master plumber means an individual who possesses the necessary skills and qualifications to plan and supervise the installation of plumbing and who is licensed as a master plumber.

  • Natural area means an area of the rural or non-urban environment which is in an unspoilt natural state or is of high scenic value, and includes, but is not limited to, national parks, game reserves, nature reserves, marine reserves, wilderness areas, areas of extensive agriculture and scenic areas;

  • Area of special flood hazard means the land in the floodplain within a community subject to a one percent or greater chance of flooding in any given year.

  • Floodway means the channel of a river or other watercourse and the adjacent land areas that must be reserved in order to discharge the base flood without cumulatively increasing the water surface elevation more than a designated height.

  • overlay zone means a mapped overlay superimposed on one or more established zoning areas which may be used to impose supplemental restrictions on uses in these areas or permit uses otherwise disallowed;

  • Urban renewal area means a slum area or a blighted area or a combination thereof which the municipality designates as appropriate for an urban renewal project.

  • Floodplain Development Permit means any type of permit that is required in conformance with the provisions of this ordinance, prior to the commencement of any development activity.

  • AT&T-4STATE means the AT&T owned ILEC(s) doing business in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.

  • Zone means a transit operations finance zone established under this section.

  • Environmental Management Framework or “EMF” means the framework adopted by the Recipient through its Ministry of Planning and Investment’s Decision No 116/QD-BKH dated January 22, 2010 and referred to in the paragraph 2 of Section I.C of Schedule 2 to this Agreement, which sets out the environmental protection measures in respect of the Project, as well as administrative and monitoring arrangements to ensue the implementation of said framework, as said Environmental Management Framework may be revised from time to time with the prior concurrence of the Association.

  • Floodplain Management means the operation of an overall program of corrective and preventive measures for reducing flood damage, including but not limited to emergency preparedness plans, flood control works and floodplain management regulations.

  • Floodplain or "Flood-prone area" means any land area susceptible to being inundated by water from any source (see definition of "Flooding").

  • Stormwater management planning area means the geographic area for which a stormwater management planning agency is authorized to prepare stormwater management plans, or a specific portion of that area identified in a stormwater management plan prepared by that agency.

  • Septage means the liquid and solid material pumped from a septic tank, cesspool, or similar domestic sewage treatment system, or from a holding tank, when the system is cleaned or maintained.

  • Flood Zone means areas having special flood hazards as described in the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968, as amended from time to time, and any successor statute.

  • Water Surface Elevation (WSE means the height, in relation to mean sea level, of floods of various magnitudes and frequencies in the floodplains of coastal or riverine areas.

  • Channel migration zone (CMZ) means the area where the active channel of a stream is prone to move and this results in a potential near-term loss of riparian function and associated habitat adjacent to the stream, except as modified by a permanent levee or dike. For this purpose, near-term means the time scale required to grow a mature forest. (See board manual section 2 for descriptions and illustrations of CMZs and delineation guidelines.)

  • Buffer Zone means an area designated to be left along roads or other features in which there will be no cutting.

  • Crosswalk means that part of a roadway at an intersection included within the connections of the

  • Urban renewal project means undertakings and activities of a municipality in an urban renewal area for the elimination and for the prevention of the development or spread of slums and blight, and may involve slum clearance and redevelopment in an urban renewal area, or rehabilitation or conservation in an urban renewal area, or any combination or part of them in accordance with an urban renewal plan. These undertakings and activities may include:

  • Water well means an excavation that is drilled, cored, bored, augered, washed, driven, dug, jetted, or otherwise constructed for the purpose of exploring for groundwater, monitoring groundwater, utilizing the geothermal properties of the ground, or extracting water from or injecting water into the aquifer. “Water well” does not include an open ditch or drain tiles or an excavation made for obtaining or prospecting for oil, natural gas, minerals, or products mined or quarried.
