zero-dimensional definition

zero-dimensional means “points”, “reduced” stands for “distinct” and “algebraic set” means “zero set of a system of polynomial equations”. A polynomial ideal is associated to an algebraic variety. As the points are distinct the ideal is radical. (For a technical definition of radical ideal and other algebraic notions see e.g. [22, 44]).
